Items That Should Not Be Shared or Lent

Hazardous, unlawful, contaminated or unverifiable safety-critical items should stay off the community loop.

Not every unused item belongs in a community. Passing on a hazardous or unlawful item just moves the risk.

Direct answer Do not share illegal goods, weapons, drugs, unlicensed medicine, obviously dangerous electronics, contaminated items, or child-safety devices with an unknown history.

Usually keep these off the site - Electronics with a swollen battery or exposed wiring. - Expired food, unsealed cosmetics and unidentified medicine. - Medical waste, sharps, pesticides and unlabelled chemicals. - Recalled or undocumented car seats and helmets. - Infringing copies and pirated media. - Items that need a permit to hold or transfer.

Live product rule Publishing requires an acknowledgement. Staff can remove listings and act on accounts. The platform does not take legal liability for either person.

Limits Banned lists differ by place. This page is a safety-oriented product note, not a complete legal catalogue.
