How to Agree on Return Dates
Put the return date on the request and confirm who hands the item back on which day.
A borrow without a return date often becomes an indefinite hold. LoopSwap borrow requests expect a return date.
Direct answer State availability on the listing, set a return date on the request, then confirm the exact hand-back time in chat. Extensions need a new yes from the owner.
What the product actually does After the date you can receive an in-app reminder. The request does not automatically become a legal overdue status and no fine is generated. Both sides can confirm a return or keep talking.
Write these down - The local date, to avoid timezone confusion. - Whether return is a public meetup or self-shipping. - Whether weekends move the date. - If you will be late, say so in the official thread at least a day ahead.
Limits These are communication tips, not contract clauses that are valid everywhere.
