How to Avoid Swapping Disputes

Honest photos, written confirmation and a public handoff prevent most swap fights.

Most swap disputes start with “this is not what I saw” or a no-show. Writing things down beats arguing later that the other person “should have known”.

Direct answer Publish honest photos, repeat the agreed terms in chat, and check the item before you leave. If something already went wrong, open an in-app dispute for a timeline and settle the practical outcome offline.

Prevention - Do not filter out scratches. - Send a fresh close-up before you travel. - Meet in public only. - Do not accept overlapping exclusive requests that make a no-show likely.

If a problem already exists Stay in the official thread: times, photos, a missing return or a mismatch. You can report false information or open a dispute. Staff may record an outcome. They will not send money to either side.
